Low-energy collision-induced dissociation
Collision-induced dissociation process wherein the precursor ion has laboratory-frame translational energy lower than a given value, often taken to be 1 keV.

Note: This process can be carried out under single collision conditions but typically requires multiple collisions and the collisional excitation is cumulative.
