DRAFT DEFINITION
Digital signal

A signal that represents information in a computer-compatible form as a sequence of (binary) numbers which may describe discrete samples of an analogue signal. An analog signal which has been converted to a sequence of numbers.

Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
