DRAFT DEFINITION
Delayed extraction
The application of the Accelerating Voltage pulse after a time delay in desorption ionization from a surface. The extraction delay can produce Energy focusing in a time-of-flight Mass Spectrometer.
Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
This is an unofficial draft definition presented for information and comment.
