Isotopomeric Ion
From Mass Spec Terms
Isomeric ions having the same number of each isotopic atom but differing in their positions. The term isotopomeric is a contraction of ??????????????????????isotopic isomer?????????????????????????. Isotopomeric ions can be either constitutional isomers, e.g. the radical cations of 35ClCH=O and HC35Cl=O or isotopic stereoisomers, e.g. the molecular ions of (R)- and (S)-CH3CHDOH or (Z)- and (E)-CH3CH=CHD.
