DRAFT DEFINITION |
Infrared Multi-photon Dissociation |
---|
An efficient method for producing MS/MS data in a FT-ICRMS cell through the use of an infra-red CO2 laser. This has benefits over the SORI technique since the lack of the collision gas improves the duty cycle of IRMPD scans. |
Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission |
