Photographic plate recording
Recording of ion currents by allowing them to strike a photographic plate, which is subsequently developed. Note: This technique is typically associated with ion-beams that have been spatially separated by m/z and focused across a focal plane as in a Mattauch-Herzog geometry magnetic sector instrument.
